Metal sculpture, built one at a time
Big Robot Pattaya is a metal sculpture yard on the east coast of Thailand. Every product in this catalogue was cut, welded and finished by hand in Thailand, out of recycled steel — scrap plate, motorcycle chain, drive sprockets and old tyres. Nothing is cast, moulded or produced in a series. There is one of each, and when it sells it is gone.
Figures can be made from 10 cm to 9 metres tall, weighing from about 1 kg to 8 tonnes. Products marked available are ready to ship; anything else — another size, another subject, or a piece that has already sold — can be made to order.

Commission a product - No cart, no checkout
There is no shopping cart on this site, and that is deliberate. Each sculpture is a single object with its own weight, dimensions and crating requirements, so freight cannot be priced until we know where it is going.
How buying works

Send an enquiry
Tell us which product you are interested in and the country it is going to. The form on every product page carries the article number for you.
- 02
We reply with a total
The price of the product, a wooden crate built around it, and freight to your port or door — as one figure, so there is nothing to discover later.
- 03
We crate and ship
Products already standing in the yard ship as soon as the crate is built. A commission takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on size.

Questions we are asked most
Can I buy a sculpture directly on the website?
No — there is no cart or checkout. Every sculpture is a one-off with a different weight and size, so shipping has to be quoted individually. Send an enquiry from the product you want and we reply with a single total including crating and freight.
Do you ship outside Thailand?
Yes, worldwide. Every product travels in a wooden crate built around it. Because they weigh anything from a couple of kilos to over half a tonne, freight is quoted per product and per destination rather than published as a flat rate.
What are the sculptures made of?
Recycled steel, almost entirely: scrap plate, motorcycle chain, sprockets and old tyres. Finishes are weather-resistant coating, protective paint or an industrial patina, depending on the product and whether it is going indoors or out.
Can a product that is already sold be made again?
Usually, yes — we take commissions for any product here, sold or not. It will not be identical, because none of them are, but we can match the subject, your dimensions and your finish. Commissions take 4 to 8 weeks, depending on size.
How big and how heavy are they?
Figures can be made from 10 cm up to 9 metres tall, weighing from about 1 kg to 8 tonnes; each product page gives that piece's own size and weight. Anything above roughly two metres needs machinery to place, which is worth planning before it arrives.
Can I see them in person?
Yes. The products stand in our yard in Pattaya and you are welcome to walk around them before deciding. We are at 203/5 M.11 Sukhumvit Road, 20150 Pattaya, Nongprue, Chonburi — call +66 61 658 3265 first so someone is there to let you in.
