Built by hand from recycled scrap metal, this is the large-format Bumblebee — nearly four metres across at the wings and heavy enough to need machinery to place. The pose is the piece's whole argument: knees bent, weight forward, arms drawn wide, caught in the instant before the charge rather than standing at rest.
Yellow armour panels are layered over an exposed mechanical core of springs, pistons, gears and chain, and the spiked wing blades behind the shoulders are cut and assembled disc by disc. The head carries the signature crest and mandible detail, with the eyes wired for blue illumination that reads sharply against the dark steel once the light drops.
